Supporting Florida communities in times of crisis

The Florida Crisis Response Team provides trained, trauma-informed support to communities affected by disaster, tragedy, or violence. Our volunteer teams help stabilize survivors, guide local responders, and foster recovery in the aftermath of crisis, offering compassionate care when it’s needed most.

Our Mission:

Restoring strength through compassionate response

Guided by the National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA) model, our mission is to bring empathy, structure, and hope to every community we serve, ensuring no one faces crisis alone.

Our services

FCRT provides trained crisis response and trauma support throughout Florida. Whether assisting survivors, training responders, or coordinating community recovery, our volunteers bring compassion, structure, and stability to every phase of crisis intervention.

01. Community crisis response

When a tragedy occurs, our trained teams deploy on invitation to provide emotional support, stabilization, and coordination with local caregivers and responders.

02. Individual & group support

We offer trauma-informed intervention for individuals and groups affected by crisis, helping survivors process emotions and begin the path toward healing.

03. Training & education

FCRT provides NOVA-based training for volunteers, caregivers, and partner agencies, strengthening community readiness and understanding of crisis intervention principles.

4. Long-term recovery guidance

Beyond the immediate response, we help communities plan for long-term recovery—supporting resilience, connection, and continued access to trauma resources.

5. Partnerships & collaboration

We work closely with local agencies, first responders, and community leaders to ensure coordinated, compassionate care across Florida’s regions.
